Authorizations to create input options in restricted column?

A BI developer created an analytic view in HANA studio. He wants to create a restricted column and restrict using input options. When he tries to

restrict using input options, he receives an auth error. What auths does the BI admin need to complete this task? Thanks for the help!

Whatever column he is trying to pull in, does he have access to query that normally?  ie:  if it's pulling from a logical join from some other separate attribute view for example is he authorized to run that view?
