Unable to generate Stack from Solution manager

Dear Solution Experts,

Need to help to fix the issue,

We are not able to generate the Stack file from Solution manager.

We are getting below error during Select OS/DB-Dependent Files phase. Kindly help me to fix the issue ASAP.

Hi,

Solution manager component version is : SAP EHP 1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0.

I tried to assign the recommended setting but getting below message, me unable to assign.

Your Solution Manager system is too old.

I have supported the Maintenance Optimizer at SAP for 5 years. Your Solution Manager release cannot connect properly to the current backend. Moreover, it is out of maintenance, and will not be supported in case of issues downloading new product versions.

Sooner or later you will have to bite the bullet and upgrade to Solution Manager 7.1. Better make it sooner, I think (this is just a personal opinionn though).

Hello,

Your Solution Manager system is too old.

That GUI is for Solution Manager 7.0 EHP1 SP21 or lower. That is too old to generate a valid XML these days.

Solution Manager 7.0 is out of maintenance too.

I am afraid you have to update to Solution Manager 7.1. You can do it without a Maintenance Optimizer XML, please see SAP Note 1577909.

Have you tried setting the recommendations for PRD system as ERP 6.0 in SMSY ?
