End User Home page customization

Hi All

GRC10.1/NW 7.4/User source AD

Any one can open EUH in customization mode by  append " &SAP-CONFIG-MODE=X&OBJECT_ID=ACCREQ/123 ".

I want to prevent this or disable. How to achieve this? Please help!

Hi Venu,

were you able to fix this? I recommend to close the client in SCC4 so that a user is not allowed to change anything in the system. It still can be accessed, but changes are not allowed.

just to add: does the user have developer authorization or authorization for object S_WDR_P13N? If so, then he is granted to customization.

Hi Venu,

Can you tick mark the check box “Do Not Allow Personalization by User” for service WD_GLOBAL_SETTING

Right Click,and open Test Service, then go into Change mode and check the  checkbox.

Hi Plaban,

personsalization by user means that the end user is allowed to change his personalized view (like column ordering, filters, layout, etc.). That has nothing to do with the web dynpro customization which is valid globally (for all users).
