Hi Arun,
Thanks for your interest .
Lets take an example
We have two users say A and B belonging to plants 100 and 200 respectively .
A can not create a sale order for plant 200 similarly
B can not create a sale order for plant 100 .
In similar fashion can we restrict the user in viewing the orders.
i.e Orders created by A should not be displayed to B , and
Orders created by B should not be viewed by A .
Dear Arvind,
You need take help of Basis Consultant, however sales order is concern there is no standard authorization object is there for plant, you need to develop a z object with the help for technical and then same can be used to restrict user plant using authorization object with the help of basis.
Hope this will help you out.
Thanks.
Hi,
This can be done using Authorization profiles specific to Plants and assign these to your users
For Example User A has to be assigned with only Plant 1000 , by doing this he can only be able to access Orders of Plant 1000
similarly try for User B
you need to seek basis help to do this
thanks
santosh
