Equipment calibration: How to import massive Control Chars in Equipment task-list (IA02)

Hi

I'm importing a lot of data from a legacy system to set data for Go-Live the Equipment calibration process on SAP ERP (6,00 EHP7).

I've a lot of Eqipment, and many of them have few QM Control Charateristics (quantitative) which I've to set on the Equipment task list.

After few time of work,with some problems using LSMW tool, i've discovered that IA02 transaction is not fully supported in LSMW and Batch-Imput.

How can I solve my problems ? I've to set about 10K Control Characteristcs and unfortunately I'm not an ABAP specialist.

Solved to myself.

The problem occurred because on table PLMK there was inspection Chars with the same key flagged for deletetion. I've physically deleted these entries and now the Batch-Input works fine.

Hi,

In my previous project also we did same way (Data Migration) for Inspection plan & Task list master data.

Record the Master data transaction activites in SHDB Tcode along with ABAPer,then they will map the excel sheet with required fields,then Functional consultant should able to perform the data migration.

In my view, developing BDC with ABAP help would be better choice here.

Unfortunately IA02 tarnsaction doesn't support Batch-Input for insert Control characteristics.

If you try to create the screen-sequence using SHDB transaction, teh system issues and error when you try to insert the 2nd chars, This error avoid to use Batch-Input  both in ABAP and LSMW mode.

Any other idea ??
