Hello,
Space issue under Global directory for folder 300ADSP
\usr\sap\SID\SYS\global\300ADSP is getting full.
we have files like, SPOOL0000000112_00026.prn and ADS files
How can we set automatic deletion of ADS and spool logs.
SAP_REORG_SPOOL jobs is working fine.
Regards
Shekar
Hello Chandrashekar,
not only spool is writing into global directory.
Also for example, batch input processing writes files/logs into this folder.

You can adjust/copy the variants of the reorg jobs, if you can't extend the disk space.

Hello Shekar,
this depends of your inner regulations.
If it is OK for your company to remove the spool in a shorter period, than you can go to SE38 and update the variant for the SAP_REORG_SPOOL job.
I would recommend to copy the existing variant and schedule the SAP_REORG_SPOOL job with your own variant, so to key the SAP variant untouched.

Hello Shekar,
please have a look into the following link:
Required Background Jobs - Background Processing - SAP Library
It shows, what SAP ReOrg jobs are needed.
You can adjust to the most reorg jobs the variants, to shorter value.
Please also note, not all jobs a cross clients running.
Some jobs needs to be scheduled for each client.
Best regards
