DBACOCKPIT integration of Oracle db

Former Member

Hello Oracle experts,

we are trying to integrate several customer SAP systems on Oracle 12 /Windows into DBACOCKPIT of our central SAP system.

Because these systems reside in other networks we prefer to adapt the SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES parameter.

Question:

What is the difference between a) und b) for our purpose?

a) SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES = NONE

b) SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES = ALL

Is it possible with variant b) to establish the DBACOCKIT connect through different domains?

Thank you!

Hi,

Regarding your question/issue, you can check the below SAP KBA

1948090 - "Remote oracle database in a different not trusted windows domain"

Hello Biboarka/oracle experts,

many thanks! We know this sap note.

We use for most customers already Oracle 12.

This sap note does not cover this Oracle version.

Secondly we would like to know what will happen, if we set

SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES = ALL?

Thank you!
