Workload redistribution in SRM 7.0

We have  the following in the workload distribution in SOCO

Requirements

Purchase Orders

Contracts

RFxs

We do not have the RFX configured in our landscape, but all others like the Shopping carts, Purchase Orders and Contracts ( service as well as Inventory)  are operational

I understand that the Work load redistribution can be used to stagger the load to the buyers and it means from a SC perspective  that those are to be available for the buyer intervention

My query is:

We have the status  in  'In process'  or All  where as there can many statuses for a business Object such as a Purchase Order ( like ordered, transaction completed,Error in transmission), Contract ( Expired,Completed, awaiting approval ,Released etc),and Shopping carts ( Held,Deleted, awaiting approval, cannot be ordered etc)

Why would the various objects  not configured in the status dropdown key to cover all the possible statuses so the buyer can be selective  based on status

If it is a standard feature, can you pls confirm and let us know if there is a KBA ? and its  reference?

Is this something that is part of future support packs or configurable?

Thanks

Nag

Hi,

Workload redistribution is to  distribute the workload of documents among the purchasers in your company, More details are in below link.

It is not for buyer.

Thanks  Rohit...

Query was what exactly is the significance of Status  ( In process and All)

What is the differentiation between these two statuses? How are these status different from  the Object wise status that we see in Purchase Orders,Contracts, Shopping Carts etc?

Hi Venkata,

The only In process documents will be able to distribute, The both will have same results.

If the document is already completed, it should not be distributed.

Best regards,

Rohit
