Error trying to consume OData DELETE NW Gateway service

Hello experts,

I am getting an error when trying to consume an OData DELETE NW Gateway service.

I am trying to delete this data using the built-in remove method of sap.ui.model.odata.ODataModel:

However, when I attempt to call this, I get the following error:

I have marked the Entity Set as deletable; so why would the Delete method not be allowed?
