Not able to Close the project

Hello PS Gurus,

I want to close the project but not able to do so. I am getting error message "Error when processing asset under construction (AuC) for WBS element XXX-XXXX-XXX-XXX" and "You cannot deactivate asset 999999999 0.  (Please check.)"

I tried to settle the said WBS element also but I am getting message as "Either the sender is already settled, or there is nothing to settle"

Not sure how to proceed....

Thanks in advance

Deepak

Hello Gerry,

can you tell me more about KBA(?) 1791913?

What exactly is this and how should I proceed?

Hello Deepak

Sorry, 1791913 is not a KBA (knowledge based article) its an OSS corrective note.

The two errors messages you are seeing are  CJ824 AY109  ?

AY109 comes if  the AuC still has values against it.

Any values must be cleared before you can close the WBS element.

If you do a FUL settlement against the WBS element it should  clear them

then you can close the WBS

Two common ways of doing this are ..

  1. Post a manual retirement of the AuC to clear it.

  2. Create a new AuC and use it for all the differences in the final settlement.

Message CJ824

The message indicates a problem processing the AuC.

I hope this is better information

Hi Deepak,

You need to check the AuC created for this WBS element, it seems there is some data missing, thats why system is not allowing to close it.

Now you need to find the AuC and try to find out what is missing.

Hello Terence,

Can you tell me what I have to check in AUC (AS03 transaction right?)

What and where I will have to check?

Hi Deepak,

Just go to AS02

Open and try to save it, system should propose a error message at that time, so once you fix those errors, then you will be able to close the WBS element

Hello Terence,

I tried using this transaction AS02, and tried to save it but said "No Data changed".

Hi Deepak,

Some information you can check are

1. Add some data in the asset and save it (Your message I feel no Save event is triggered)

2. Check Asset Class, this should be investment class

3. Authorization issue
