Issue with running report with Cascading Dynamic Parameters as a user

Former Member

I recently migrated some crystal reports from CR XI to BO 4.1 and some of the reports have Cascading Dynamic Parameters

I was able to successfully run these reports when I log into BI Launchpad as an Administrator and the dynamic parameters where displayed for me to pick a value

However when I tried to run these reports when logged in  as an AD user the dynamic parameters are not getting populated with values

I have searched through the forum and tried what was suggested here https://scn.sap.com/thread/3722041 but it didn't work

Have you got any chance to check with few other Enterprise users? It seems the Objects with the Cascading prompts have BOUSER variable associated with their definition.

We have only one Enterprise user which is the default Administrator account.

How do I change the BOUSER variable if that is the problem.

Try to remove the portion with BOUSER variable in Objects definition and try to fetch value. Sharing screenshots would help.

Please can you point me to where I can remove the BOUSER variable

I have been able to resolve this issue.

I needed to schedule list of values to run at least once so that the values can appear  for a user.

Hi ,

Were you able to publish crystal reports in 2013 to 4.1 successfully ?
