Redwood CPS configuration

Hi

Is there any restriction on the number of satellite systems that can be connected with SAP CPS server.

We are running Redwood CPS 8.0 on Linux servers.

Hello Tushar,

as far as I am correct informed, there are no limits in CPS, concerning SAP Systems to connect to CPS.

Each SAP/client gets connected over a own Isolation group.

But there are limits, how many jobs can be processed the same time (was 4 if I recall correct).

What does it mean that only 4 jobs can be procssed at the same time.?

Does it mean only 4 jobs can  be trigerred at a particular time say 11:00 pm.

My training is some times back and it was with version 7.

There where a time, where you just could execute 4 parallel steps in a process chain (4 job in SAP).

But when I cross check now the different version document, the limit seems to be gone.

You are limit to 10 users, who can access the redwood system, if I understand the help document correctly.

Each SAP System gets connected to a own Isolation group and cross client scheduling is not working ...

Hi,

It is not about connecting the SAP systems however it is about integration job chains across SAP systems.

Do you have licensed version or free version?

Hi Tushar,

I don't think there was any limitation but the license may be something which you need to look into.

Also, the capacity+configuration of your CPS system may limit the maximum number of concurrent connection

You should look into the administration guide.for more.
