SOA...

I know this may sound stupid but I know SOA is a Service Oriented Architecture but I don't know exactly what that means...

Can someone explain to me in its simplest form the following:

1: What is SOA

2: How does this Impact an SAP System

3: How is it useful to XI and in what way we would implement this with XI

4: Could You give an example of SOA in SAP and XI

5: Also if you'd be so kind... What are the advantages and disadvantages...

Hi Ricardo,

1. your questions are very general - if I may suggest try asking

SAP or SAP consutling company to give you a presentaiton

about those general issues

2. make sure you read "sticky" threads - the first three - four on every forum

they say what you need to do to get a clear, correct answer

thanks,

Regards,

michal
