LTRC - Source System = AS Java?

Hi Guys,

apologies if this is covered already.

I need to set up a NW Java 7.31 system as a source for replication onwards to HANA.

For the connection to Java system to get the data and set up replication, what type of connection must be used?

Options seemingly are:

RFC via HTTP or Direct Database connection

Which is the recommended way? Is there some documentation in this area?

Why do you need to replicate something from a Java system to HANA.

What data or tables you are trying to replicate from a Java to HANA.

Hi Mahesh,

thanks for the reply.

We are working on OPI, and so we need replication of systems to HANA. A compination of MDM and PO applications will contribute to the OPI reporting.
