I get an error  in first steps of installation.

Can you please share the installation logs for this step ?

Have you used the parameter SPAINST_USE_HOSTNAME and using latest SWPM ?

I have tried with that parameter nothing changed. The log file is attached to first message.

Hi Aram,

That is the sapinst logs, there are specific log for your current installation stage - please share that.

The problem can be seen in the form of function call and assertion, but the solution will be coming by checking other logs.

I was with the same issue, and starting a new installation with this parameters solved my problem:

./sapinst IS_HOST_LOCAL_USING_STRING_COMPARE=true SAPINST_USE_HOSTNAME=<hostname>

Yes I use latest. I have tried to install with the same media in the other systems and never got such an error.

Could you refer the SAP Note 921594 with the error message & Solutions "role ORA_DBA is not created yet"
