Does anyone know if there is a way to see when a part was last used in production...would it be in MB51? But with what movement types?

Thanks in advance.

There is no SAP standard report which display the last used date( Not sure about PP module)

however with transaction code MB51 on the selection screen you can enter the material and movement type (261) this can give you the list when the material was consumed

Using MB51 and movement types 261 - would this only work on finished goods and not raw material?

Anthony

If you consume raw material in production order you will see 261 for the same.

261 would normally be for the parts, components, raws - the things that make the finished goods

If you are using finished goods in your production work orders (making kits of finished goods for example) then you will also see the finished goods issued to the order with 261 movement type.

If your not using finished goods as parts then you wont see finished goods looking at 261 GI to order

evaluate transaction MC.A

Execute the selection, then press F6 to select the fields to be shown.  There are some for last consumption date, last goods issue date and last movement date, however there is no specific date for "last goods issue to production".

Hi Anthony

If you want to see last posting then yes it would be MB51. The movement type would be 261 for production order that is consumption of material. If you want to see GR for the same then 101.
