Hi Team,

I have one application developed in 2008 and 3.5 framework and using Crystal report 10.5.

Now I want to run the same application on Windows Server 2012 R2. Please let me know what all changes are required. I have already tested it with Crystal report 13.

Thanks and Regards

Hi Suman,

CR 10.5 does not support Win2K12 Server OS.

You have two options to upgrade to.

1. Stay with VS 2008 and get CR 2008. Upgrade your reports with CR 2008 designer and upgrade the app to use CR 2008 .NET SDK. Simply remove the old 10.5 assembly references from the app and add new 12.0 references. Recompile the app.

2. Upgrade to either VS 2010 / 2012 / 2013 / 2015 RC and install SP 14 install executable.

Upgrade your reports in the designer and upgrade the app using the new 13.0 version assembly references.

I would suggest going for 2nd iption if you have a newer version of VS for use. As you would need to purchase CR 2008 but CR for VS (in 2nd option) is free for download and use.

Thanks,

Bhushan
