Personas 2.0: The default flavor for a tcode set in admin_ui is not launched, why?

Hi Personas 2.0 experts,

I have two flavors, say, flv_A and flv_B, both for tcode SMEN. In Personas tool, I set flv_A as the "Set as default". Then I went into admin_ui tool to set flv_B as the default flavor for SMEN tcode for the group.

However, when I launch the url of the app, like, http://..../persos/mainapp?sap-client=xxx

The screen of flv_A is always displayed, but not flv_B.

It seems the flavor set by "Set as default" in the Personas is used, no matter which flavor is set as the default flavor for a tocde from admin_ui tool. Can anyone explain why it is like this? I expected that the one set by admin_ui should be shown first.

Hi Dong,

normally your users don't have the necessary rights to choose other flavors and set them as their personal default. The personal default will always overwrite the group default. You can control that by denying the necessary authorization to set a personal default.

If you have no personal default set, group default will be launched.
