SAP MDM issue

Hello All,

We recently rebooted MDM server for OS patching after that we are unable to load and connect to the repository .

I able to mount MDM server and repository but unable to connect to it through Admin user. ( Invalid user name ) please check the error log.Is that anything need to change in DB level.

ERROR CODE=1012 ||| ORA-01012: not logged on, Last CMD: SELECT TABLE_NAME FROM DBA_TABLES WHERE TABLE_NAME='A2I_CATALOGS' AND OWNER='A2I_XCAT_DBS'.

Hi Prav,

can you confirm if the Oracle database is started and in OPEN mode.

you can check the status of DB using v$instance or v$database views.

And then check the user status for the DB user which your using in DBMS settings of the MDM console.

You can use below command for checking the MDM status:-

clix mdsstatus <hostname> <userid>:<password>

And Also check your DBMS settings in MDM console and the DB user needs to be maintained if required.

This has been done by creating the new user to manage the repository.
