Adding FTP server to Solution manager technical monitoring

we have a stand alone FTP server that uploads jobs from ERP to External multiple vendors.

I know that we can add those batch jobs to Solman Technical Monitoring.

but can we add that ftp server to technical monitoring too?

Yes, that is possible.

You can thus interface and call scripts and integrate those into monitoring, you can build custom metrics and alerts etc so in the end you can achieve what you are looking for, combining those things.
