IE11: problems at creation of shopping carts

Hello,

we use SRM with relase 713. Now we have problems in case of using IE11:

If the user try to add an item with "add free text item", then search the
categorie/ vendor, the system redirect the page to the requestor start page
with an error " due to a problem, the website would be open anew". At
the same time, a new website page with the message " website page
expired" is opened.

If the user adds the free text item directly without using the option "
add free text item", it works.

I could not find a SAP note for this problem does anyone have an idea?

Hi Peter,

In case of IE11 browser problems there are several actions which are solving the problems usually:

- check the pam for the requested minimum SPS for NW version (as Ivy recommended),
- update the rendering patch.

Hi Peter,

Did you use Enterprise Mode for IE11?
If not, you may try again with this mode.

we checked this as well, it did not solve the problem, but currently it does not occur anymore

Hi Peter,

Good news!

If the issue happened again, please check if this happened to all end users.
If so, I suggest you check the pam for the requested minimum SPS for NW version(if portal is used).

Hi Peter,

Could you please provide the IE version and also some screen shots for better understanding of the issue.

Can you also check how it behaves for the limit item and also try to select some shopping cart from old shopping carts and templates & check the behavior.

Hi Bharathi,

at the moment this problem does not occur anymore, very likely related to updates on IE on weekend. We use IE11 with version 11.0.9600.17501 and update version 11.0.15

I forwarded this to the concerned users and wait for their feedback
