Adobe document Service in SAP ABAP System

Hi Experts,

I have a IDES system with ABAP Stack with MS Sql Server 2005 database. OS is Windows Server 2003. Now I want to install Adobe document service in it. Is it possible ? If yes then how ? Or do I need to install Java instance ?

As per my knowledge Java stack is required to configure Adobe Document service
