Hi Experts,
We have installed SRM 7.0 EHP2 on Suse Linux with Oracle database.
Our Installation went smoothly, but after running the Tx --> SICK facing an issue like below.
We have upgraded kernel to latest. As the kernel shows latest version at OS level but it is not replicating the same at SAP level (GUI).
But when we see on System-->Status from GUI it is showing patch number 100 only.
Any solutions to resolve the issue will be greatly helpful..

Hi,
Suggest you to follow SAP Note 1629558 - Linux 3.x kernel
& 1310037 - SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 11: Installation notes
Both notes will be helpful for you to resolve the issue.
Good luck !!

Hi Rana,
Thankyou for the response..
We have followed both the notes and did Kernel upgrade.
But still the issue exists.
We are able to see the Upgraded patch number from OS level (using disp+work) but the issue is from SAP side (System-->Status).
We don't know why the upgraded kernel is not reflecting in SAP Side.
Any suggesstions to resolve the issue will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Rana / Isaias,
Sorry for the late reply...
Thank you for your valuable suggestions. We have resolved the issue, presenlty the SAP (System --> Status) side is showing the updated kernel. We have just restarted the system (OS and SAP) which resolved the issue.

Hi Isaias,
Thank you for your quick response.
We are using SUSE Enterprise Server 11 (x86_64) version =11 and patchlevel=2.
We have gone through the SAP note 19466 and followed the same procedure.
But still the issue exists. Can you please let us know how to resolve this issue and move forward.
Thankyou in Advance.
