Can't create story in Lumira from SAP Bex Query

Hello Experts,

I am unable create story in Lumira(1.25 desktop) from SAP Bex query, is this limitation or do I need to install something to make it work?

Hello - this is a current limitation; with the BEx Query you can only see the Visualize room.

Version 1.27 (planned) is coming with new BW connectivity per the earlier askSAP call this week - see

There is no specific date set. All we can say is the release is expected end of June / beginning of July, but this is a general expectation and the date may change.

We were planning to release 1.27 to our power users when it became available so they could create and share stories against BW.  We have however put our plans on hold as the user guide for 1.27 still indicates that we can only see the Visualize room.  Is this something that is expected to change in a future release?

SAP BW supports only the

Visualize room. The Prepare, Compose, and Share rooms are not available.

Lori - did you install the BW connector with 1.27?  Please see

that still holds true for the "BW Online" mode

however, SP27 additionally  delivers a "Download from BW" mode too -  Connect to BW I think it's called
