Unable to capture screenshot in Android device enrollment in Afaria SP5.

Hi Expert,

For Device Enrollment guide, we need to take some screenshot.We are getting "Unable to Capture Screenshot" message on the device.

Device type: Android Device.

Please suggest any solution on this.

Hello Vivek,

Thank you for reaching out to SAP Community Network.

The screenshots can be taken by enabling the Screen Capture in Configuration Policy. Click on Configuration policy ->Android -> Samsung Safe -> Restriction Policy ->Select "Enable Screen Capture - Yes" and click "SAVE". Then link this policy to the device and click on "Apply policies".

Also there is an option in Android config policy - Policy > Edit > Android Configuration > Security to Allow Afaria client screen shots .

Hello,

This is expected, as by default the option for taking screenshots is off in the Afaria client. It can only be enabled with a configuration policy.
