Hello All,

I am upgrading my ECC 6 EHP 7 Server through SUM

During up-gradation following DVDs required.

Enter mount points for the DVDs of the kit "NW740SR2" required for the Procedure

Enter at least mount point containing Kernel DVD for OS NTAMD64 and unicode

The requested data carrier is not mounted on any of the mount points you entered

My OS      =      Windows 8

ECC          =     ECC EHP7

kernel          =   7.42 unicode

please guide me what DVD is required to proceed the installation

We faced the similar error,Solved the issue by making  corrections in LMDB and regenerated Stack file as per 2231846 - SUM requests "NW740SR2" DVD during READDATA_EXP phase.

i am still searching the export DVD to continue the SUM

i have downloaded the following DVDs of export but not succeeded

51048524_1 NW 7.4 SR2 Installation Export

51048524_2 NW 7.4 SR2 upgrade Export 1/2

51048524 _3 NW 7.4 SR2 upgrade Export 2/2

please guide the correct DVD for export to continue the SUM upgrade process

Hello Saqlain,

download from

Software Downloads | SAP Support Portal

The required DVDs (they come as zipped files).

Than extract the them.

Browse in the installation step to the extracted folder.

In each folder is a file, called CDLABEL.ASC.

You can open this file with notepad and find by that way the matching media/folder.

enter at least the mount point containing Export DVD for product ERP
