Theme editor is missing in EP Production

Hi All,

We have EP development and production systems.

We have theme editor in development but it is not showing in production system.

Can anybody help out to make theme editor visible in EP production. (Version EP 7.4)

Hi,

In your system theme designer is enabled. To disable theme designer and enable theme editor, follow below mentioned  steps :

1. In SAP NetWeaver Administrator, navigate to: Configuration Infrastructure Application Modules .
2. Filter the Application List. In the Name field, type laf, and then press Enter.
3. Scroll to the Portal Service Details section, and in the Portal Services tab, choose Portal Service Configuration.
4. To activate Theme Editor and deactivate the Theme Designer, remiove the value of the Determine what will be the theme runtime provider property from LESS . This should be blank(no value)  and choose Save.
5. Restart the portal service.

Hi Suresh,

Some things to check:

1. Is the portal version and the business packages installed of the same version in Development and Production systems?

2. Is the user id used for accessing Portal assigned same roles and has the same permissions in both systems?
