few LDAP user getting lockout everyday almost same time

Hi All,

Currently we facing major issues on BOBJ , needs to find out is this a known defect of the product BOBJ 4.0 SP4.

Issue : few LDAP  user getting lockout everyday almost same time.

Observation :

They are using

1. 1. webi report
2. 2. Schedule report are running , as well as they have access to run the canned reports.
3. 3. Unx & Unv files  - on connection they have selected business object mapping -  once the user login /refresh the report his credential will pass to database to retrieve the data.
4. 4. Database : only DB2
5. 5. As per log & Trace from N/w , LDAP , & DBA this lockout is due to bad attempt of password send to the DB2 Databases but we are not able to trace the application which is making this request.

If this is product defect then we required valid sap notes which will support our statements.

Also, check the configuration of LDAP authentication in CMC. It should not override the database credentials of an user in this case. The checkbox in the image attached should be unchecked.

check box mentioned by Arijit has to be checked.

If you have SSO enabled then you will have to manually login first with the ID then only schedule for those User ID will work without locking the ID in the DB.

Are you able to refresh the reports with those users ?

I assume password set at user level may causing the issue . Reset the password at user level and check .
