Fortunately most (all) HANA PAL algorithms generate pmml as an output option. This is definitely useful for speeding up model deployment. As my team continues to build more PAL algorithms, most recently the CART decision tree, it occurred to me that the pmml could be used to generate more desirable visualization options. (Some of the HANA PAL algorithms are lacking in visualization ability it seems). Anyway, I thought perhaps Predictive Analytics could do the job for me, specifically generating a dendrogram (tree visual) from the pmml. Unfortunately, after downloading the trial-version and playing around with it, that does not appear to be the case. Does anyone know how to import a pmml file into SAP Predictive Analytics for visualization purpose? For that matter, does anyone know of an app that will import pmml for visualization purpose?
