Weight calculation for a KMAT based upon components

Hello,

I am looking forward to build a VC model, below is sample scenario.Appreciate if i can get your valuable suggestions to do same.

links to document, etc.

Configurable material have super BOM with approximate 1000 components, i want to calculate weight of final configuration selected based upon weight maintained in material master of this components, some of this components are sub-assembly so those also have BOM and thats how have components below.

Please reply with ideas, logic to achieve this.
