profit center assignment at header level in sales

Can we assign profit center at header level in sales order.If yes how its possible?

You cannot do this. You can link profit center only to the items and not at the header.

Hi,

Sales order line items could have multiple profit centers thus profit center is at item level of sales order.

However, you can use user exit MV45AFZZ and on save check if sales order contains multiple profit centers or only one profit center. you can give logic to ABAPER and give error as per your requirement.
