Web IDE - onPremise connection to a gateway system

I installed local Web IDE locally running on orion.

I am not able to connect to the gateway system. I created the entries for the destinations but I am not able to connect to it. I keep getting the window to enter the password but never connects.

Any suggestions on what might be wrong.

I want to add that I can create a new app with the OData URL, but not with the Service Catalog. I am not able to extend an app as well.

The connection to the SAPUI5 ABAP repository is not working. Rest seems to work.
