SAP IoT tables integration with Hana XS application.

I am trying to check the SAP IoT offering.

Viewing the below mentioned URLs

I have created device type, message types (inbound and outbound) and a device. Using python script I am able to simulate the device for sending and receiving messages.

Messages which I are getting from device are stored in a table. My doubt is how can I bind this table to Hana XS application.

I have created and XS application in Hana XS instance, what steps in need to follow after this to view tables in XS application.

Hi All,

I found the solution to the above issue. Below is the procedure.

By default, MMS uses the automatically created database (schema) for storing data and the default data source binding for accessing this schema. The name of the underlying database schema is displayed in the "Databases & Schemas" section of the HCP Cockpit.

1) Create a HANA XS instance.

2) Changing the database binding of MMS

In order to switch the MMS database binding from HANA to HANA XS, select the HANA schema and remove the “iotmms” binding. After that, select the new hana xs instance schema and add a new <DEFAULT> binding to “iotmms”.

Hope this procedure help all.
