Is it possible to set POD time frame in sold to party in SAP SD

Hi All ,

Can we set relevant for POD in sold to party or we are always entering in to ship to party .

I have seen some case POD is confirmed for sold to party is it right ?

Hi Lijo,

The POD timeframe will be taken from the ship-to party (the value in LIKP-KUNNR). System reads the value from LIKP-KUNNR. Then reads the customer master data (from table KNVV) of this record. And uses the timeframe then to calculate the automatic confirmation. I read through the code but there seems to be no possibility to use the sold to party here (that would be using LIKP-KUNAG).

I am not sure why you would want the system to use the sold to party. After all, the functionality is proof of delivery. The delivery will arrive at your ship to party and not your sold to party. So, it should be the ship-to party that Also, if you have a POD timeframe in both your sold to party & your ship to party, which should the system use? To me, it makes no sense to use a value from your sold to party.
