Issue accessing all java portals

Former Member

Hi,

I am trying to access nwa from http://<hostname>:port/startpage but I am facing the unauthorized issue. I tried logging in to other portals as well but couldn't login to any.

We tried checking for the log in OS level but the log is not getting updated. (D:\usr\sap\ACJ\J50\j2ee\cluster\server0\log\defaultTrace_00.11)

Can anyone suggest me how to resolve this issue.

Hi Teja ,

Are you able to access using the link http://<hostname>:port/nwa  ?

Cleanup all the  saved passwords and cookies in ur browser and restart the browser and try again .

Thanks ,

Manu

Hi Teja,

I am not able to access above URL

I would ask the same thing which Manu asked - are you getting the logon page.

No

I'm getting unauthorized error without entering any login details.

It is not even showing login page to enter the details.

first try the following

Please try  to access the link from IE ( Explorer ) or mozilla

Also

Post the security log under D:\usr\sap\ACJ\J50\j2ee\cluster\server0\log\system .

OK.. i think that either the problem is with the browser or with the logon application which was set to lazy and has not started.

Either you should try taking a restart of of your system or start this application from telnet is this is running or not, is stopped the start it manually.

Also, provide me the application logs and other logs in server0 folder.

Please zip and upload here itself

Link i provided above is having that log file. Here I didnt find any option to attach a word doc.

It might take some time to load that file using that link as the file size is 5mb.. Please be patient.

Thanks.

But why are you getting this for all portal systems ?

So, perhaps it is something related to non-sap or some infra issue or a frontend issue.

We have raised an incident to SAP with very high priority this morning. They didn't provide a solution till now.. They took almost one full working day without a solution.

Hi ,

I have cleared the cookies, history and also restarted SAP but couldn't resolve the issue. It worked fine yesterday. No changes were made to the system.

Im getting the startpage. But Im unable to access any of the portals. When I try selecting the NWA or any other I'm facing the issue.

Hi Teja ,

Believe this could be the issue of the saved password stored in your browser .

To confirm , can you try to open the link in explorer / Mozilla

Are you getting the error message when you click any of the links in the start page immediately , or does it take you onto a logon page ?

Thanks ,

Manu

Hi Manu,

I cleared all the browser history. So saved password might not be the issue.

Ok .

But did it ask for logon  ?

Normally when you click any of the links in the system startup page it should ask for a logon .. Are you getting that logon page ?

Thanks ,

Manu

Have you tried using administrator ID ?

What are the results ?

check security/system logs in server0.

try using http://hostname:port/index.html page and from there select NWA.

Also check your UME and by taking a rolling restart of server node.
