Greetings,
Can anyone point me to a Note confirming that different SAP products (we have ERP, BW/EPM and SolMan) can co-exist even though their Oracle databases may be at different versions? I need to reassure my boss that this is not a concern. We need to upgrade all of these products to 12c and there is concern about having one at 12c and others at 11g.
Thanks in advance,
dennis
Hello Dennis , database layer is abstract for SAP. You can use any supported version for SAP per PAM.

Note that not all SAP products have been released for 12c.
SAP Note 2133079 currently indicates:
Oracle Database 12c (incl. RDBMS 12c, Grid Infrastructure
12c and Oracle RAC 12c) is certified for SAP NetWeaver based SAP
products starting March 31st, 2015. The minimum Oracle version
certified is 12.1.0.2 with applied initial 12.1.0.2 SAP Bundle Patch (SBP),
12.1.0.2.2.
If you have non SAP NetWeaver products, they still are not certified (for example, MDM is expected for the end of this year)

Hi Dennis,
You have to check SAP PAM:
service.sap.com/pam
to search for products you are interested.
Best regards,
James
