In FLM, you can define your company specific file numbering validation in addition to the standard file numbering validations. You can do so through the /PSINDS/BADI_FILESEND – BadI. This BAdI contains the /PSINDS/IF_FILESEND~ FILE_NUMBER_VALIDATION method.
In this method, you can define your company specific validation for file numbering. This method takes File Number details as input parameter and validates the file numbering details entered by the user during file creation. If the file numbering is incorrect, then the method returns an error.
