Matrix organization and reporting
We face some challanges/questions, that we cannot see if its possible or not. We cannot find anything in the online documentation concerning this area.
1) Is there, by your knowledge, any matrix organizations running SAP Cloud for Customers? Our question is related to reporting. Since the organization is built on a matrix structure, and organizational structure in C4C is reflecting a more traditional hierarchy structure, how does/or do SAP plan to configure organizatios running as a matrix organization.
2) If we have an organizational created as attached picture (Matrix Org), and we use Sweden as the use-case.
2a) Sweden sales rep. creates an opportunity and is thereby an employee responsible for the opportunity. (And Sweden is the responsible sales org for the opportunity)
2b) The Swedish sales rep adds a custommade Party role = GSS (Global sales support) to the opportunity.
2c) The opportunity has the sales org Sweden, because the opportunity is owned by the Swedish sales org.
Questions is, is it possible for the org-unit Global Sales Support (Attachment = Matrix Org), to do an All opportunity report showing all opportunities and an indication which of the opportunities is related to GSS? We have tried to filter with the party role GSS, but it only returns all opportunities were GSS role is involved. Ideally we would like the report to show something like this:
|Sales Org||Opportunity ID||Party Role||Expected Value||Chance of succes|
As you see, we need a clear indication that the opportunity is related to the GSS organisation.
I hope you can help us, ps. its not an option for us to have a customfield/value to indicate that the opportunity is related to GSS
