Hello Experts,
I have seen two values for parameter 1053 like D(database) and F(File) in maintain configurations under SPRO.
and we are maintaining 1053 value as D.
I just wanted to know under which case we will use value as D and value as F for parameter 1053
can anybody provide some information on this.
Best Regards
Ravi

Disadvantage(s)
1. Data must be backed up and restored using operating system tools, separately from the database.
Database
Advantage(s)
1. Back-up and restore jobs using database tools.
2. Consistency is ensured.
Disadvantage(s)
1. Slower than file system storage.
2. Increased load in database.
3. Requires maintenance work for DBA if DB grows faster.
