Dear all,
I faced with error during SAP NW7.42 installation (Oracle 11.2.0.4/RHEL6.3),step "Import ABAP".

Text from import_monitor.java.log:
Required system resources are missing or not available:
Import directory '/mnt/sap-nfs/distrib/NW742ABAP/51048524_1/DATA_UNITS/EXP1' does not exist;
Import directory '/mnt/sap-nfs/distrib/NW742ABAP/51048524_1/DATA_UNITS/EXP2' does not exist;
Import directory '/mnt/sap-nfs/distrib/NW742ABAP/51048524_1/DATA_UNITS/EXP3' does not exist.

chmod 777 -R is the answer, but you have to make sure that the entire path where SWMP and the media and download basket is store has 777. This is because it changes user the <SID>adm.

Are these files on NFS ?
Can you move them to local machine start your installation again ?
BTW, can you share installation logs for this stage ?

So your NFS is either on Windows and mounted on some non-windows system where you are performing the installation.. Is that the case ?
If nor then download the media again and replace it with the current one.
Also, check permissions and owner are correct.
If there are no logs which I can read, how can I suggest you anything else ?
