Can I change the print layout of a file in FLM?

In the FLM system, there are two options for print:

• Coverpage print – user can print the coverpage of the file
• Noting print – user can print the noting section of the file

Changing the print settings as per your company needs:

• The system defines the layout of the Cover page based on the values defined in the Print Settings Customizing. You can access and define the values of this Customizing under : SAP Netweaver-> Application Server->SAP File Lifecycle Management->Basic Setting-> Print Settings
• The system controls the print layout of the noting section through /PSINDS/BADI_FILESEND BadI. This BAdI contains the  /PSINDS/IF_FILESEND~ GET_HTML_PRINT_DATA method. This method takes file details as input parameter and returns a HTML content of the Noting. You can use this method to set customer specific layouts to view the noting in an HTML file layout. The standard system provides the following HTML file view options:
  • File Description and Private Notings
  • File Description excluding Private Notings
