Getting this error in Lumira 1.25 desktop

2118526 - Error HDB 02072: Cannot execute the query: query statement length exceeds engine capacities

I noticed there is a note on it but no solution at this time.  Any ideas on a fix or workaround?

thanks,

Hi Matt,

It would be great, if you can report this error via SAP Incident support ticket.

Hi,

when you contact AGS via an incident, please qualify the problem by indicating:

  • what datasource type you are querying,
  • what interface/driver you are using to connect,
  • and some indication of the type of dataset you are trying to fetch (100 columns by 100 000 rows, for example)

regards,

H

I will log a ticket - I saw note 2118526 and thought it was being worked on.

to answer the above questions for future reference:

- the data source is an SAP BW CUBE (7.01)

- IDT, jco connection (would use bex but Lumira with bex is not good (right now)

- volume & profile of dataset - 1.2 millions rows, 11 columns, one calculated dimension

thanks henry
