Hi Team,
After much pestering I've convinced management to look into the new world of SAP UI/UX for our business - So hopefully they can be impressed with Personas and what it offers.
Unfortunately they want us to demonstrate this using in-house resource and we have no Personas set-up/development expertise.
So how can a customer that just has ECC6 EHP6 easily demonstrate Personas? Is the set-up easy and would we have to install much?
i.e. Basically what would be the best and easiest way to demonstrate Personas?
So that we can get the Wow factor and hopefully more buy in for what I believe to be a great technology.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Hi Robert,
I see three approaches.
1. Do it yourself
SAP Screen Personas is an add-on to the NetWeaver ABAP stack. Some customers report that it took them only an hour to install and configure the software. Add time to read the documentation first so you have a clean install the first time.
You can create simple demos pretty quickly, assuming you already know how to use the software.
Just remember to focus on the productivity savings (through simplifying screen, streamlining business processes, and automating keystrokes) as well as visual enhancements to improve usability.
2. Demo what someone else has done
If you do not have the time or skills to do the above, you can show other customer examples.

3. Have a partner do the heavy lifting
There are several SAP partners that have successfully completed SAP Screen Personas deployments. You can have them bid on your project and show the expected benefits. Let me know if you would like me to make an introduction.
Good luck!

Peter
