During SOLMAN upgration, MAIN_SHDRUN/RUN_RSCPINTS_STDSAVE error

Hello All,

I have tried to upgrade SOLMAN 7.1 from SP8 TO SP13.

I have used SUM 1.0 SP13 PL0

I 'm at 5.5 Preprocessing step.

Error was occurred in phase  MAIN_SHDRUN/RUN_RSCPINTS_STDSAVE  and  Batchjob 'RSCPINTS' .

I had researched some logs and I found, in that step "ddxtt" table is copying to "ddxtt_std". But this job was aborted everytime.

And there is no data in the ddxtt table.

How can i go on or skip this step?

Thanks

If this is the situation then locate the job logs by providing date from 29th May to 9th June .....Nice work for the system now.

Hi Gaurav,

I tried to upgrate more than 2 months, so 29th May logs is better than up-to-date logs

Hi Murat,

Instead of *RSCPINTS* you could use *RSCPINTS & execute to locate the job.

You need to look into the shadow instance. But the logs do not show any helpful information (I got the same error now). Did you solve your problem?

Hi Murat,

Suggest you to maintain the port entries under services as per note & retry the phase again. If still issue persists re-share the logs.

Hope this will help you.

Good luck !!

Hi Gaurav,

Today, I tested one more with stop SOLMAN processes between 15:27 and 16:05. So I got "  'SOLMAN:3302' not reached  ". Then I started SOLMAN processes and I tested again.

..begin dialog at 20150609152749

...end dialog at 20150609160553

please you ignore that time logs.

I updated logs , please download logs again from www.sybase.com.tr/support/SUM_LOG.zip

Thanks,

Hi,

This is the exact which i found from the shared logs

LOCATION    CPIC (TCP/IP) on local host with Unicode

ERROR       partner 'SOLMAN:3302' not reached

For the issue suggest you to refer SAP Note 1341701 - partner 'hostname:service' not reached

& share the results as per note.

Hi Murat,

29th May logs is better than up-to-date logs

It's strange .For a successful upgrade always locate updated logs to trace the issue,it's bit difficult with to suggest you on old logs.

If possible share the updated logs .

Hi Gaurav,

I ran that step again and I share lastly logs.

lets download from www.sybase.com.tr/support/SUM_NEW_LOG.zip

Thanks,
