Hi
We have a requirement.
We do have URGENT sales orders to be executed in 48 hours. These are having separate sales order type.
For this we want to have DRP executed based on Triggers as and when the demand comes.
Help me how to configure this particular sales order type and the corresponding receipts documents and run DRP separately for these requirements.
Is this possible?
Please note for the same product we may have regular DRP also.
Purpose is supplier to get this requirement as PRIORITY and act immediately,
regards

Hi,
It looks to be a enhancement which would need ample time to configure/develop and test before using it
Pls check this.. From SAP Library.
A new PSM trigger is available for DRP. The system sets the trigger when a sales order arrives at the core interface (CIF). In accordance with the standard trigger delivery, the trigger is not active in the system, you have to activate it if you want to use it.
The Business Add-In (BAdI) BAdI: Specification of DRP PSM Trigger
(/SAPAPO/DM_SPP_SALES
) is available. You can use this BAdI to determine in CIF whether the trigger should be created or not for a particular order.
For more information, see the BAdI documentation in Customizing, under Advanced Planning and Optimization

Also Check this link. to add new sales document/order type you need to define the new order type and its characteristics and priorities. Please explore it

Just my thoughts.
