Dear Experts,
we got a client(company) stuck with SAP IMPLEMENTATION from a year or above, now we are assigned for implementation these guys have SAP_ALL user, but no SIDADM access is there any means to get SIDADM access or its equivalent ? They have only an ERP System with ABAP+JAVA, Oracle 10g, Windows.
Hi,
You need SIDADM user on OS level and SAP*/DDIC users at SAP level.
If no one has SIDADM access and password - proceed as below by informing your client.
login as root and type "passwd <SID>adm" to reset the password of SIDADM user.
If you don't have sidadm access, ask for "sudo su - sidadm" right on your OS account.
Use this user and there is nothing called a copy of sidadm.
