All,

just like to start this Diskussion, because yet I haven't any description of these parameter.

If you run the "R3load -ctf" command it will create the cmd-file with bs=1k and fs=1000m. Does anybody have an idea to Change this predefined values?

Also, if I change the cmd-file manually to (CDCLS-2 is subsequenz of CDCLS)

tsk: "/usr/sap/U3K/export/exportInstallDir/CDCLS-2.TSK"

icf: "/usr/sap/U3K/export/DATA/CDCLS.STR"

dcf: "/usr/sap/U3K/export/DB/DDLORA.TPL"

dat: "/usr/sap/U3K/export/DATA/" bs=8k fs=2000M

dir: "/usr/sap/U3K/export/DATA/CDCLS-2.TOC"

The dump file is going to be larger than 2000m!

The CDCLS-2.TOC contains at "fil:" a 8192!

cat /usr/sap/U3K/export/DATA/CDCLS-2.TOC

vn: R7.42/V1.8

id: cd84cb6300000038

cp: 4102

data_with_checksum

tab: [HEADER]

fil: CDCLS-2.001 8192

1 1

eot: #0 rows 20150609094239

This all makes me puzzled. Does anybody has a explanation?

Hi Krahn,

Did you check below KBA on changing block size and file size ?

118059 - Storage parameter for system copy with R3load

Hi,

thanks for your reply.

Yes, indeed I checked it again. But in this case it isn't helpful. It doesn't describes the function of bs= and fs=, nor the effect if bs= is changed.

Have you ever changed These?
