Clicking on cancel button of Prompt in Analysis for Excel

Hi Experts,

When in Analysis Excel, a user presses the Prompt button, which subsequently opens the prompt, and then just presses ‘Cancel’, the tool connects to the query again and runs for about 30 seconds. The Cancel button should just close the window without any action required.

When we open the report, asks for prompt, in that situation if we press cancel, the window will close within 5 seconds. But after putting some data in prompts, run the report and then click on prompt from Analysis tab, click on cancel, then this problem occurs.

Is there any work-around or solution for this?

Hi Niket Talati,

as per as i know there no any work around for this.

I would suggest to open a ticket, AO team wil take care as Development Request under performance improvement
