Integrate Meridium with SAP PM

Hello,

We plan to integrate Meridium with SAP PM. I know Meridium has API, but I'm not sure what we should in SAP side to set up the interface.

Appreciate it if you could share you experience.

Hi Stephen,

SAP has provided standard Interface which send data to and fro from SAP / Meridium.

Your Meridium consultant can provide information about the interface.

You can transfer Master datas like Functional Location / Equipment / Task List / Maintenance Plan / Maintenance Strategy / Notification / Work Order.

They can calculate the cost based on the work order history which is sent to Meridium, based on that they can create a Task list and Maintenance plan, then send the data back to SAP.

Meridium report /MIAPM/MASTER_INTERFACE

This sync more reports

• /MIAPM/EQUIPMENT_INF
• /MIAPM/FUNCTIONAL_LOCATION_INF
• /MIAPM/WH_WORK_ORDER
• /MIAPM/WH_NOTIFICATION
• /MIAPM/WORK_HISTORY_DETAILS

You need to check with Meridium for more.

SAP side, you need to check whether your requirement is satisfied using standard Interface and Fields, else you need to custom develop it. This will be mainly for Z fields which we have created in SAP.

Also if you dont want to have direct interface, you can also think about XI, so the data from SAP is sent to XI and from XI to Meridium. In return Meridium will send to XI and from XI to SAP.

We have used interface directly from BW, since it has the live data. SAP - BW - XI - Meridium and Meridium - XI - SAP
