Antonio,
Load Balancing is a function of the reverse proxy, so yes. Are you using this with SMP oData functionality or Agentry functionality? I strictly support the oData functionality and am answering for that only. I do not know if it works for Agentry clients as well as I believe Agentry requires websocket support.
Thanks,
-kevin
Hi Kevin.
Only to check,so i think i don't write well my question.
is it possible to use F5 appliance as reverse proxy (and Load balancer) for SMP 3.0? We are thinking of use F5 instead of Relay server...
we will work with odata, and the next future with agentry (then i will have to check it).
the main idea is to take out relay server and put only F5 to replace relay server ( + load balancer)
where can i find any SAP's documentation about this??
a lot of thanks.
Antonio.
Although it doesn't specifically address F5, you can check out http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-57367 Thanks, -kevin
